The SEES Fall 2025 seminar schedule

All SEES seminars are free and open to the public. The Monday seminars are presented in Blunt Hall 313 and begin at 2:30 p.m. unless noted otherwise. The Fall 2025 semester scheudle may continue to be developed and posted.

August 25Tony Spicci will present, Becoming a GISP: The Importance of Professional Certification in the Geospatial Community 

September 15: Dr. Gopal Penny may make a presentation on climage resilient water systems

September 22: Dr. Arif Masrur, ESRI Senior Solutions Engineer, Data Science and Advanced Analytics

September 29: Dr. Santana Palacios, Assistant Professor and joint appointment in the Knowlton School's City and Regional Planning Section and the Department of Civil, Enviromental, and Geodetic Engineering. Presentation on transportation planning.

October 6: Dr. Basil Tikoff, Professor, Department of Geoscience, University of Wisconsin-Madison. A quantitative field geologist whose interest is in deformation on a variety of different levels within the Earth's tectonic plates.
